MOULDFLO

Manufactured in Denmark, and distributed in France by Stavem in Groissiat, Ain, Mouldflo systems offer a reliable and affordable solution for controlling the flow, temperature and pressure of water in each mould circuit. They make it possible to optimize the quality of molded parts and optimize cooling time by searching for ΔT and optimal flow rates in each circuit. They are also real locks because they alert the operator and block the process in case of drifts related to, for example, temperature regulator deregulation, circuit blockage (scale or corrosion), or faulty connections. Mounted instead of conventional water boxes, Mouldflo feeders are space-saving and can be mounted in the immediate environment of the mould, reducing the length of the circuits accordingly. They provide a real flow measurement, unlike the approximate visual inspection of water boxes, and their maintenance is reduced to a minimum. The versions of the feeders are characterized by their black anodized extruded aluminum or AISI304 stainless steel material, the number of zones 4, 8 or 12, the maximum permissible temperature 95°C or 120°C, the flow rate ranges per circuit 1-15 or 2-40 l/min and the presence or not of pressure sensors at the inlet and outlet. The system also includes a plug & play input/output interface block that automatically recognizes connected feeders and exchanges with press devices. Finally, a mini-server on which the Mouldflo software is installed stores the data. The integrated VNC (Virtual Network Computing) functionality allows data to be displayed graphically on the press screen, laptop or tablet via an Ethernet cable. It also complies with the OPC-UA communication standard, so it can be fully integrated into an Industry 4.0 data network, which limits configuration costs. The installation is very simple even on existing processes. Stavem also distributes the MouldPro range, a real source of solutions for mould regulation and for processors in general.
